Wednesday Oct 18, 2023
Wednesday Oct 18, 2023
The tears of a clown may be some of the most soulful expressions of the human psyche. The tears of a beholder are... a bit more complicated, as they will do their best to express your soul from your body. We learn a stern lesson in episode 26, happily labeled 9 out of 20 as initative call out is always a DM's best friend.

Tempers flare and plot threads tightened as the knowedge heavy Iris has a massive weight to bear as time understands inside.
Hopefully our team can last long enough to understand the great choes of our past present themselves in tangible relics, and we have the key.

Dungeonetics: Season 3 ep. 24 Raven’s rush
Tuesday Sep 12, 2023
Tuesday Sep 12, 2023
Sir Edgar and his troupe have been ousted for far too long. Cargo and lives have been lost to the strange humnoid figures on the travel paths south of Ritten, and little hope is all they can give its citizens. The Scaled Company was requested, and a fool proof plan was hatched. A few silence spells on an enemy based on charging at sound will end the first wave...
...but the following 250 might have a venomous objection.
Welcome to a battle heavy charge into episode 24 of Dungeonetics!

Dungeonetics: Season 3 ep. 23 A Ravens Forceful Request
Tuesday Aug 29, 2023
Tuesday Aug 29, 2023
Crying in the fruitful horde of a gem dragon is no way to start an episode, so we've fast forwarded. Spies of the imperial eye seem to have greeted us at our worst, and forced into a decision. The Scaled Company is nothing if not agreeable as we set our possible new renters out for success.
After contract negotiation, we have been summoned by a proud Sir Edgar. Member of a shadowy Raven themed sort, he is reseeking controll by force of the the forest of Ritten, as bandits had head to non-humanoid invasion. Blamed and publicly wronged for events possibly set in motion by us, we take an ear and plan for victory. All except one.
Thank you yet again to Kellen, Games Brown, and Virus of Ideals for their audio contributions as well as the great folk at freesounds.org. Be sure to search us on the socials, and have a great episode 23 of Dungeonetics.

Money. For a team of seven who have wild aspirations for the future, it is the means to a peacefull end. Between the establishment of a Temple to Erebos, a lordship to secure, an hidden heir to protect, and an community to inspire and uplift one would think we have eyes bigger than our stomachs. We are the scaled company, and we will not be ignored.
After clearing and securing the Blackstone Mines, our attention has shifted to a hidden ruins dig site near Ritten. Splitting the party is imperative as our shapeshifter and dragonborne have chosen to focus on a higher path, while the grizzled vets try their hand at a puzzle or two. Will we pick up on the hints leading to our end? Listen to episode 21 to find out!

Dungeonetics: Season 3 Ep.20 The Spaghetti Incident
Sunday Jul 09, 2023
Sunday Jul 09, 2023
Rest and relaxation.
We deserve it. Between defending the realm from orcish intrusions, uncovering malicious plots to seize power from a rightful heir to throne, and dragging skin flaps in a haunted milling estate; we are just plum tired.
It'll be nice to kick up our feet on a bar, drink way too many meads, and fight the spinning urge to forget the horror of war. Perhaps we will meet a kind friend and share a memory.
Lest we forget the sheer malice of our DM, for there is no rest for the wicked. Will punishment for our previous moral deviations catch up with us in Episode 20 kindly labeled the Spaghetti Incident? Yep.
Thanks again, as always, for Kellen for our slamming intro, Games Brown for their dramatic crescendos, and Virus of Ideals for All My Earthly Days. All are available on Bandcamp, Youtube, and Spotify. Also please check out freesounds.org for a calvacade of euphony to battle the cacophonous existence of daily life.

Dungeonetics: Season 3 Ep.19 Goo goo. Ga-Gah?!?
Tuesday Jun 20, 2023
Tuesday Jun 20, 2023
It almost seems our collective narritive has taken bad directions from the local inhabitants. The investigation of the Blackstone Mines have unearthed tougher questions for which we simply have no awnsers for. Mainly how did Kyra and her wing of Talon find no resistance when entering the obvious deathlaced halls while avoiding all the religious iconotry of Juiblex.
Or was an alliance made?
All these questions, a zeroed out stat, and well timed bless rolls make up this episode of Dungeonetics. To be fair, we are just happy you decided to take an hour with us at Dungeonetics!
Thanks again, as always, for Kellen for our slamming intro. Really it is the perfect send off to adventure. Again, Virus of Ideals for All My Earthly Days, for the exit music. Not to talk shop, but what a catalog of art. Gotta let those vocals rip. All are available on Bandcamp, Youtube, and Spotify. Also please check out freesounds.org for a calvacade of euphony to battle the cacophonous existence of daily life.
Note: if my intro's seemed recycled and used. They are. Narrator had vocal surgery, so lay of bub!

Dungeons. They illicit a sensation of dread, or should depending on the visitor.
For some in our party looking more to the reallignment of a moral code to the universe and narritive our Dungeon Master has constructed, Dungeons are unpleasant.
For the other half, who narritively have alligned themselves with a flexier walk of life, even opening themselves to the dark necromantic arts, well...
We are investigating the damage-laced tunnels of the Blackstone mine. We are afficted with various madness guides and considering our eclectic mix of moral codes this should be a sloppy one.
Listen in to episode 18 of Dungeonetics to find out!
Thanks again, as always, for Kellen for our slamming intro. Really it is the perfect send off to panic. Also Games Brown for the beautiful tempo spike with At Least You Tried. Ooh don't forget the saxyest Drop Party kicking it for the midroll. Finally and always Virus of Ideals for All My Earthly Days. Gotta let those vocals rip. All are available on Bandcamp, Youtube, and Spotify. Also please check out freesounds.org for a calvacade of euphony to battle the cacophonous existence of daily life.

Dungeonetics: Season 3 Ep 17 A Sleepover In A Dungeon
Sunday May 07, 2023

When I was a young youth there was a show on Nickelodeon called Double Dare. It appeared to be enjoyable and it seemed as though every contestant won a Garfield Phone or a 10-speed BMX bike in the final round. NO one ever won the prize to Universal Studios.
Why?
Station 5 was the slide that looked like a giant tounge and somewhere in the landing pit was a red flag tucked behind or in a big mound of slime.
And much like our young millenial contestants, our older millenial DnD players appear to be in such a pickle. We are also surrounded and quickly loosing time to a Gelatinous Cube. Two to be exact. Will our intrepid heroes bust through to saftey, or will they pick up their peverbial calico phones for a ride home.
Listen in to episode 17 of Dungeonetics to find out!
